We studied to create an integrated system of land resource assessment and optimized decision for the great requirement of Chinese land resource scientific plan and rational utilization with technologies of information speedy obtaining, information automatic processing, information integrated analyzing and visual representation etc. We also created series of regional land use evaluation models and space optimization decision models and built the model base, method base and inference mechanism for regional land use evaluation and space optimization decision, as well as exploited a land resource evaluation and optimization decision platform.

The research had been published by 70 papers including 16 papers in SCI, 40s papers in EI, and a monograph. The research also obtained 12 software copyright registrations, 12 patents which had authorized 10. In addition ,we optimized or participated in work of the Standard Five. The result of the research had been used in land evaluation, planning and decisions to urban land, agricultural land, and rural land all around Chinese provinces like Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Canton, Hubei, Gansu, Shanxi and so on.
