As the current situation of map integrated downsizing technology just limited to topographic map and base spatial data, we started firstly to study the integrated thematic map and scale changing technology. The software platform of integrated thematic map we studied applied successfully in the multistage land use data of second land resource investigation result.

The research of the application software had obtained 3 patents and been published by 30s papers. The software and relevant technology we studied finished the date establishment of thematic land use map integrated downsizing for over thousand towns from 20s provinces.
