On February 19-24, as one of the building membership, we hosted the third conference of Geoservices-4-Sustainability Project. The conference aimed at discussing the structure and content design for international summer schools of GeoS4S.

There are 20s representatives from 10 universities which spreading in Europe and Asia’s 6 countries including University of Salzburg in Austria, Palacky University Olomouc in Czech Republic, Eberwalde University of Sustainable Development in German, Free University of Amsterdam in Dutch, Asian Institute of Technology, Chiang Mai University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Thailand as well as Wuhan University, Nanjing Normal University and Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of sciences in China.

Professors from our school had discussed with other representatives for the 2 courses we charge, which are “GIS and Intelligent Transportation System” and “Smart City”, to make it more reasonable. Moreover, after the conference we determined many aspects for the summer school of next meeting including curriculum structure, content, form,candidates and time etc.
