The vice-president li Xingwei as well as the teachers and students in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology came to Wuhan University to do the academic exchange. The activity had lasted for 3days and supported by Hong KongTen Thousand Talents Program. The academic exchange activity aimed at promote communication between teachers and students in Hong Kong and the Mainland.

In the morning on Thursday October 27^th, the Scientific communication conference held on the Schoolof Resource and Environmental Science. li Xingwei, the vice-president of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Li Jiancheng, the vice-president of Wuhan University, attended the conference and exchanged some basic information about two universities. Meanwhile, dean of the School of Resource and Environmental Science prf. Liu Yaolin introduced the majors, stuff, and research about the School. After that, some professors from either universities did the academic lectures and displayed scientific researches to each other.

Last but not least, the two universities known each other more from this activity, and expressed the wish that we should get more chance to collaborate with each other in the future.
