The 27th International Cartographic Conference (ICC) has taken place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 22nd-28th, August,2015. The ICC is organized by the International Cartographic Association, which meets biennially, is the highest academic conferences and communication platform in the field of cartography.

The college organized a dozen people attended the event, including professors , young teachers and graduate students. Professor Du Qing yun, Pro. Liu Yanfang, Pro. He Jianhua, Pro. Jiao Limin, Dr. Wang Yanxia and Dr Kuai Xi had given oral presentations.
